Redlined to the Truth

Today’s journalists in the major media are often political hacks pressing their own prejudices upon readers. Journalists have migrated away from the tradition of being objective and unbiased and seem to be agenda driven.  They write a narrative to influence the reader to preordained politically correct narratives, rather than engaging in objective discourse and vetting to arrive at the truth.

Where can one find a more objective and less slanted news?  One could create a global news association that does news, investigative reporting, and research driven journalism, but the capital investment and organizational requirements are tremendous in the hundreds of millions of dollars.  The task to create an organization of the scope and size of the Associated Press and Reuters is arduous.

THE SOLUTION:  Leverage the news and investigations that the major media report and try to add a shred of honesty, balance, and objectivity utilizing Objective Journalistic Principles. The practical solution is Redline”:  Edit their articles, and correct the biases, add balancing facts, correct misinformation, remove the agenda driven slant, and state facts using descriptive words rather than politically-correct/false-connotative words and phrases.

This page redlines the works of hacks (the so-called press) so the truth can be seen and the science of journalism resurrected. To further our cause, we hope that people will join the Association of Objective Journalists.
